March’s Challenge

Our challenge for March was all around Spring! Our winner for this month was @kezadamsz – we love spring flowers!

We asked our winner about their picture-perfect image:
“During Spring 2020 when we were all told to stay home I spent a lot of hours in my garden, mostly gardening and watching the spring flowers emerge and unfold. I’ve always loved my garden and nature so I thought I’d try and photograph my flowers as they were bringing me so much joy during difficult times. I took this floral shot early one morning when the sun was low. It was during the first lockdown that I really got into my garden photography and I’m now loving it! Both my camera and nature really help me appreciate the smaller things in life.

The kit I own is a Sony a7 and I used my 28-70mm lens for this shot, one day I’d love to get a macro lens”

February’s Challenge

Our challenge for February was all around Pancake Day! Our winner for this month was @maisiethecockapup. We just loved the excitement on the dog’s face waiting to tuck into their first batch of pancakes!

We asked our winner about her paw-fect image:
“I used my iPhone 12 to edit and take the image, most of my photography is taken with an iPhone because it’s so easy and assessable as I carry it everywhere I go. I edited the photo with the Lightroom app and I always use a set preset. There is no surprise with the reason why I took the photo because it was pancake day and I wanted to capture the excitement with my pup, lucky she is a very photogenic pup who loves taking photos and loved her first pancake day too!”
