A world-renowned RHS garden, Rosemoor is enchanting whatever the season, but in spring, it’s a joy to behold, and the blossom in the Cherry Garden is the icing on the cake. There’s something for everyone here – kids will love exploring the ‘Hobbit Hole’ and Mr McGregor’s Shed (definitely one for the photo album!), and the fruit and vegetable garden will delight visitors young and old. There are sculptures, children’s trails and craft activities throughout, so there’s always plenty to do!

As well as being the home of Earl Grey tea (make sure you stop for a cuppa!), this beautiful property is best known for its spectacular displays of spring bulbs and the Silverwood garden. The woodland walks here are renowned, and the fabulous Arboretum is magical. For the energetic, the Long Walk, which follows Howick Burn all the way down to the sea, is a photo-worthy adventure not to be missed.

This glorious RHS garden houses one of the largest plant collections in the world, and spring is the perfect season to enjoy it in all its glory. Right now, Wisley is exploding into a riot of colour – you’ll be treated to gorgeous swathes of bulbs and orchards full of fruit blossoms, as well as glorious rhododendrons, azaleas and more. Lose yourself in the beautiful woodland winding paths on Battleston Hill – keep your camera at the ready for the views!

With 3,800 acres of National Trust parkland and gardens, peaceful woodlands and a magnificent lake, Clumber is a delight to visit in spring when the woodland is alive with birdsong and bluebells. The beautiful walled kitchen garden is famous for growing hundreds of varieties of fruit, vegetables and herbs, and has the biggest collection of culinary rhubarbs in the country. Clumber also boasts the longest avenue of lime trees in Europe – the majestic Lime Tree Avenue is over two miles long, making it a perfect photo opportunity!
